Crinum x herbertii 3 (GREX)

The Crinum x herbertii is a hybrid originated in the early 1800's described as a cross of Crinum bulbispermum and Crinum scabrum.

This heirloom crinum x herbertii cultivar was acquired in 2006.

Due to performance and beauty, this is my favorite Herbertii cultivar.   Color of the scape, umbel, buds and flowers of this variety are striking.

This cultivar produces offsets but has not yet produced seed.

This crinum is hardy through Zone 8 in a garden setting.
